Beginning of a Pot Garden

This is one of my favorite types of plants... can't remember the name right now but it is so pretty and keeps on blooming. I love the pink and green together.

Ahh and this is my little transplant succulant. When I evacuated for Hurricane Rita I went to Aunt Mayme's north of Dallas. She gave me cuttings of her plant. It's really a beefy plant .... or will get back to that. It's not as beefy as it was during the summer in Houston. I expect it to bulk up again. Love this plant!
And this is my tomato plant.... awaiting it's new Larger Home in the big POT! It's storming pretty bad outside right now so I'm regretting not having repotted it yet. It has been relocated to a safe place on the back deck so it should be ok tonight.

I present my blurry Cilantro! Purchased Saturday when I decided I needed some "greenage" ... Most of my outdoor plants didn't make the move very well so I am starting again. Nothing like fresh herbs.

Hunting for a picture...FOUND!

So last night I began hunting for a picture taken this past November while I was in Taiwan. Prior to my new job I traveled overseas pretty regularly to work with suppliers. In Taiwan we went to a night market and at the end of the night Celine (my supplier) insisted we take "Sticker Pictures"!!!! We step into this little shop that was fairly narrow and very deep that was the equivalent to a video arcade here in the States. I don't really recall any Video Games but there were tons of the game with the mechanical arm where you try to grab a toy that costs $.25 and you paid $1.00 to try and "get it". This place was all Pink and White with flashing lights and loud music. We step into a "machine" and jump around to the music while it takes a ton of pictures. This is what we got in the end.....
That's me on the far top left. My former boss is the one who thought it was still cute to put bunny ears on someone. I think that if your over 40 yrs old you are over the age where it's acceptable to put bunny ears on someone. Then again it was 1:00am and nobody was thinking that clearly.

Weather Under You? or You Under The Weather?

Ugh....

Can you say 11hour work day? I can and wish I couldn't.

For the most part the day was crazy but what made it most "crazy" was me feeling like garbage for the majority of it! I can honestly say that I didn't mind the long day so much... it was the feeling crappy for it part that I didn't like so much.

So we go into the "Home Office" in the morning only to leave the office at 12:30 and head to the "other office".....I don't mind working at the other office so much as I hate having to be at both in the same day or figuring out (remembering) which place I need to be at on which day. It's really not that bad. I'm just tired and sickly feeling.
There is however a validated rumor... is that still a rumor? anyway... they are building a new building for our "similarly focused group" LOL. A glorious building with three floors. One being offices, another being a "layout center" and I cant remember the other floor. There is even rumor of a cafeteria! Ha I don't buy into that one but hey a girl can dream can't she?
Yes... We can! :)

I wish I had a cute picture for today.... I know I only like to look at pictures and then read the blog! Wonder what I have that is cute? hummmmmm.....
Ahhh lookie there. It's Maddie, Riah & Tanner during spring break. To be a kid again!
Did I mention it's raining again? At least it's not in the middle of the day. I prefer the rain at night... Something very soothing about it.

The day after yesterday...

Have you ever wanted to write a blog and then thought to yourself... Why???

Ok I have to admit, I hated the idea of being strapped to the computer any longer than the 10 hours I spend with it attached to me at work. Oh and then not to mention the lovely little "trio" that the company so lovingly gave me to use when I'm not "IN" the office!

Anyone addicted to technology??

Ok so back to the whole blog concept.....

Confession #2: I love reading certain peoples blogs... creative people that is. I have enough seriousness in my life I need fun!
Confession #3: I am not Catholic so this shouldn't go on for long!
Confession #4: I think Blogging will help me think clearer... or attempt to put my crazy unorganized thoughts in somewhat of an orderly fashion.
Confession #5: I'm not too fond of the idea of lots of strangers reading what I really think..... on second thought maybe it's the people I know in real life that I don't want to let see the "other side"... on third thought, I'm sure those people already realize who I am and if they don't then its better they find out now! Ha!

Confession #6: I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (aka: Mormon). Would you like to know more? visit http://www.mormon.org/

So... there ya go. I decided to blog! Lucky you!

Ohhhhh and today Emily gave me a present!

For those of you that know me... you probably know that I collect cookie cutters.

YES!!
That is a Diamond Ring cookie Cutter! Isn't it the cutest thing ever! Just imagine it as a sugar cookie with frosting... sparklies, sugar, shiny bits of yummy-ness! I can't wait to bake some cookies!
